Everything the ECC does is made possible through volunteers.
Volunteers are needed to teach English at ECC partner schools and to help organize donations and raise funds. Housing can be provided, and of course, a life changing experience is guaranteed!
In the future, the ECC hopes to create a volunteer program to bring people in from all over the world to get a glimpse of life in Nepal and help expose students to new cultures and the English language
Two of our recent volunteers:
- Irina Pouleska came here in Nepal and attend some class in Bhubaneshwori school. She was involved in art classes, a sanitation program, teacher training and activities. She also supported some materials regarding sanitation.
- Alicia from USA came and stayed here for about three months and worked for ECC website and other management. She also worked with Bhubaneshwori schools and involved in computer classes.
The future focus of the ECC volunteer program is to link with international organizations of a similar nature also working with community schools.
